Hi all,

I am using IE 6, (but I was using 5 and then 5.5).

I would like to completely clean the internet history of my PC.
Where can I find the complete list of Folder/Registry/files to clean to
ensure that the system is 100% clean?
(I have a file shredder to ensure that the files/folders deleted cannot be
recovered).

After cleaning all my history can I really claim that my PC is 100% 'net
history' free?

Many thanks.

It is probably impossible to assure yourself, 100%, that all evidence of
your internet use is removed by simply removing temp files and history.

When one does risky things, one has to accept the risks.

You would be best served by using Norton Clean Sweep and Internet Sweep. These
are part of Norton 2003.

Cheers, Peter.

Hi

Apart from clearing the History via Tools>Clear History and emptying your TIF
folder, you can check in the Registry for the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

**If you do manually edit the Registry, please back it up first** A very good
program for doing this is ERunt:
