How do I go about cleaning out the Registry of old files
and stuff like that. When I was looking in there, i
noticed a bunch of old entries from programs that were
uninstalled. Anyone know how to clean it out safely
without damaging the system?

Thanks in advance

Best advice is to not touch it. A few entries for uninstalled programs
won't slow your computer down, and manually deleting things or using a
'registry cleaner' is more likely to foul things up.
