cleaning my hardware?

is it smart to clean my hardware every once in a while?
and if so how do i clean my hardware?

How do you mean, simply removing the dust? I'd get some dust spray or something similar, just give it a blast of that for a few seconds and it will safely remove anything on it

Its about £4 for a can, and it lasts for ages!
