Our company was using NT4.0 when I started with them. Since then we have
migrated to W2K3 with Exchange 2K3. When we migrated we changed the domain
name and removed the old NT 4.0 and exchange 5.5 servers. However remnants of
the old domain name persist in AD. I was told to run the ntdsutil.exe program
to correct this issue.
I have run the ntdsutil.exe, when I run 'list domains in site' at the
'select operation target' prompt it only show one domain, which is what we
have. However when I go into ADSI edit under Configuration>Services>Microsoft
Exchange>Site>Address List Container>Recipient Update Service I still find
CN=Recipient Update Service (OldDomainName). It will not allow me to update
it here, because only the system can update it. How can I correct this?
