I cleaned out of my registry a program called Prowrite. In doing so I
believe I deleted something that Outlook needed. When I try to close Outlook
I get an error message "MICROSOFT OFFICE OUTLOOK HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM
AND NEEDS TO CLOSE. WE ARE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE." There is a check
in the box "Restart Microsoft Office Outlook" I click OK the program
restarts. This also happens when I use the right click drop down menu on any
message. I can open an email and then click the X at the top to delete, but
I can not delete without opening. Same with moving to another folder. I can
send and receive email without a problem.
I uninstalled Office 2003 and reinstalled it. I reinstalled Windows XP (as
an upgrade). None of these helped.
Does anyone know what I removed that I need?
