Clean reinstall Windows XP

After clean reinstall was complete the opening window did not fill the
monitor screen, it was about one half to three forths the size. Can someone
tell me how to fix this.

It could be the physical monitor settings. There are usually buttons on the
case to widen, or make taller

Have you installed the drivers for your motherboard, video card, audio, etc.??
