Just a note. Don't forget to clean the light lid on your flatbed scanners
regularly. I've been chasing down a "problem" of dust and couldn't figure it
out until I looked at my light lid and saw it was filthy. An eyelash like
object kept appearing in my scans. It turned out to be an eyelash on the
