I want to reformat my hard drive and clean install
windows xp...I have a dell with the recovery cd and
windows xp...what is the process...thanks

Call Dell.
Ask Them.
Follow their Directions.

Or..

Open the packages that come with your Dell.
Follow those directions.

Or..

Go search the Dell Website for help like this:

You probably have more information on your Dell than people in this
newsgroup. They can't read your model Dell instructions for you. Jym
