HI I have a DNS server and want to deligate part of the
class C of IP's for reverse lookup. How do I do it? This
guy wants to control the IN-ADDR.ARPA for 32 ip addresses -
not sure how to give him that control throught Windows
2000 DNS Server?

Thank You
Joe

The last line of that article reads: "Then add any necessary PTR resource
records in that zone." By that I take it that it's not possible for this
zone to support dynamic updates?

I'm curious about this myself. I've set up classless zones when my ISP's
decided to cooperate and do their part (not always easy!) but I'm not sure
how to make workstations register themselves in this classless zone, instead
of the classful zone created above it. Fortunately, not a lot depends on
working reverse DNS but for the more anal protocols that look up rDNS
(including some SMTP servers that insist on accurate rDNS), I'd like to see
something like "gordshome.example.com" show up dynamically for a classless
rDNS zone.

That's not what that sentence means.

One of the reasons that one should avoid RFC 2317 style delegation of
reverse lookup domains is precisely because it breaks this.
