For some reason Windows has changed my shut down menu to a classic view. I click on Start and it no longer says Turn off computer, just Shut down. Then I click on that and instead of the green, red, and yellow buttons the menu comes up in classic format. How do I change it back to the other version?

Hi,

Control Panel/Users/"Change the way users log on or off" and reenable the
Welcome Screen.

Fausto,

Enable the Terminal Services and enable Fast User Switching. If this does not help, did you configure your computer to join a Domain?

Using a third-party GINA may also cause this. Download:

[Fix Logon/Restore Welcome Screen]. This should reset the default GINA in registry.
