"Classic" ASP image manipulation

Can anyone recommend an ASP solution (com object, code tutorial, whatever)
for manipulating graphics that are uploaded to the web server?

Our site has a news page and the powers that be want to start including
photos. I'd like this to be as painless as possible for them. They just
select a file and upload it and the application takes care of the rest.

I imagine that I will need to generate one, possibly two images. The first,
a smaller graphic to be displayed with the 'teaser' on the home page and the
second to be displayed with the full news piece. Since digital cams aren't
known for making web optimized files, I may or may not also need to run some
optimizations for the second.

So, any suggestions would be appreciated. I work in education, so FREE is a
good thing, but not necessarily a requirement if a commercial product does
the job well.

Thanks!

Jack,

I use ASPUpload and ASPJpeg from:
http://www.aspupload.com/

for all of my projects that require image uploading and size control, etc.
