Hi, just wondering, is it possible to have a class as the recordsource for a
form or report? If yes, how?

The reason is that I would like to have more control over record navigation,
editing and audit trail.

Hi,
I think you can, but only if you subclass ado.recordset. Never tried it, but
would be good to know if you achieve any result

Sorry, I delayed replying as I got distracted by another project.

Had a go with ado.recordset and no luck. I'll keep searching and will post a
solution should I find one.

Hi Alex, Access 2000 Developers Handbook has a simple database example (page
63) that uses an unbound with a class module to control events.
