Dave Patrick gave me this message

When I get to the
partition part, it says the only partition is
C: FAT32 9767 MB (3083 free)

Do I delete this or leave this alone and continue on?

To do a clean install, either boot the Windows 2000
install CD-Rom or setup disks. The set of four install
disks can be created from your Windows 2000 CD-Rom;
change to the \bootdisk directory on the CD-Rom
and execute makeboot.exe (from dos) or makebt32.exe (from
32 bit) and follow the prompts.

When you get to the point, delete the existing NTFS and
or other partitions found. After you delete the partition
(s) abort the install, then again restart the pc booting
the CD-Rom or setup disks to avoid unexpected drive
letter assignments with your new install.

OK the idieot who replyed from microsoft should quit his
damn job and find somthing else to do you arent ansewering
these peoples questions when you install win 2000 and want
to create one partition you delete all existing partitions
but you dont abort that is worthless advise. when you
delete the partitions you have the option to make a
partition it will tell you how much space you have to make
it so you make that partition then it will format that
partition then it will continue setup. aborting setup is a
waste of time.
