Claria Adware has to be removed everytime I start up

Everytime I start my computer, I get the message that
Claria Adware is trying to install. I take the remove
option and it tells me that it was removed. Hovever, the
next time I start my computer, I have to do it again.
How, can I stop this?
 
Try restarting in Safe mode, and scanning until a scan comes up clean--i.e.
probably twice.
