3 PS 4.0 servers in farm. Remove printer drivers from the 3 servers and the drivers reappear. Printers do not reappear, only drivers. about 10 drivers in question. 10 appear on one server, 4 on a second reappear, and on the 3rd they do not reappear. Win2k3, SP2. PS 4.0, latest rollups R04 and hotfixes 01,02,12
Printer is done thru Citrix UPD, and client session printing. Controlled via citrix policy. Citrix tech support is drawing a blank as to cause, thinks it OS related, not Citrix issue according to our citrix console settings.
At least on of these print drivers is causing the print spooler to crash on a regular basis, hence our effort to remove them all.
I have hacked the drivers out for the registry as well (version3 folder) and removed the monitors. They keep coming back. Any ideas on why these keep reappearing and where I might investigate next? Ive run out of ideas.
