Citrix is NOT a file, or network system. Hence, your question does not make
sense.
Citrix is a remote control software. Essentially this means that only mouse
clicks and text is sent to your screen. In fact, this is very much like a
special kind of web browser.
Since Citrix is usually used in a low bandwidth environment, then trying to
get at the access back end view a standard file share link would likely be a
VERY BAD idea.
Citrix would thus be by-passed, and would be of no use to you if you place a
front end on each pc.
If you have some pc's in the office where they have a good network
connection, and you want to by-pass citrix, you certainly can.
However, you give no explanation as to why you want, or need to by-pass
citirx, or use a Front end/back end arrangement when you have something so
fabulous as Citirx at your disposal? Why would you want a FE on each pc when
you have Citrix? What possible advantage could you gain?
In addition, if you do start placing a FE on each pc, then for remote users,
the speed of the network will *likely* NOT be fast enough. You can read the
following notes of mine (remember, windows terminal server and Citrix are
the same thing when you read the following article).
