On the otherhand it could well be legitimate and is the idexing service
which speeds up searching.
You can tune how much cpu you allow it to use by
start/run
compmgmt.msc
Click the plus sign next to services and applications, then right click on
indexing service, moce the mouse to all tasks and then select "Tune
Performance".
In the "Indexing Service Usage" sheet, select "Customize" and then click on
the customise button.
You can move the top slider over to the left to reduce the amoutn of cpu
used for background indexing.
Of course you could turn off indexing altogether.
