I was using Cisco VPN client 4.6 with Windows 2000 server.
I upgraded my OS to Windows 2003 server and Cisco VPN
client doesn't work right anymore. I'm connected
now...but, cannot access anything on the network. Others
can see me on the network and even VNC to my machine.

Firstly, does Cisco VPN client work with W2K3?

Hi Dan,

Why are you using the Cisco VPN client to connect to a Windows VPN
server? Why not use the built-in VPN client?

Just wondering,

Bill

Hi Bill,
The host is running Cisco VPN. The client (my box) is
running W2K3. All was well till I upgraded to W2K3.
Can W2K3 VPN client work with Cisco VPN (Host)?
Thanks Bill!

Hi Dan,

I confess that I'm confused by what you're asking...

Which box is accepting the VPN client connections (in other words, what
is acting as the the VPN server/endpoint)? A Cisco device, Cisco
software running on another OS, or a Windows server?

Which box is initiating the remote client VPN connections?

Bill
