i need to share folders between PCs that are on different VLANs.
How can it be done?
I'm using cisco catalyst 4503 routers and windows xp and 98, without windows
server...

You need to assign an IP address on each VLAN. If the VLANs are on different
switches, you'll need a route from each VLAN's network to the other's.
You'll also need to address the workstations route to the other network. You
can do this one of three ways:

1) Assign the route with a cmd script (batch file) in each workstation's
(all users) startup folder
2) Assigh the route at the default gateway router.
3) Point the computers at the Cisco layer 3 switch(es) as their default
gateway and make the Internet gateway router the Cisco's default gateway.
