Chromeless Title Bar

I am looking into options for controlling the title bar in
IE6 (or future versions). I know all about Chromeless
(http://www.chromeless.org) but I have not been able to
find or modify any of the code to the point that the
chromeless is not at least a little bit buggy (mostly
focus issues).

So my question is... Are there any answers to visual
control of the title bar and does anybody know what IE
plans for future accommodations of a chromeless window?

Big Big THANKS!!!!

Here's a quote from the IE6sp1 iereadme.txt which may help:

<quote>
Due to security enhancements:

Window.open can no longer open in full-screen mode
---------------------------------------------------
In Internet and Restricted Sites zones, window.open can no longer open
in full-screen "kiosk" mode.
</quote>

An implication from this would be to see if you can use your
chromeless page in a different security zone.

I have written before that I thought that as a result of security changes
that chromeless windows had to have at least a title bar. I was guessing
that this specific change was how that requirement had been implemented
but I don't really understand the details. Were chromeless windows
implemented by resizing windows which were opened in Fullscreen mode?

This newsgroup is mainly for IE6 operation and recovery issues.
There isn't very much programming expertise here.
Unfortunately there are no newsgroups specifically aimed at
programming for IE6 so when this type of question comes up
I usually point out the ie5.programming and ie55.programming
set of newsgroups. I haven't looked at any of these to see how
active they are.

Good luck
