christmas download

I recently downloaded the christmas theme for Windows download center. This
theme includes pointer, desktop, screensavers,etc. Everything is fun and
cool, but the screensaver doesn't work properly. After the appropriate idle
time, it will flash onto the screensaver, then go back to the desktop, and
never go screen save. Is there something I should look at to resolve this
problem? Would like any friendly advice...

Does it work in Preview?
(Make sure your mouse cannot move when you test. heh)
 
Not really; it's the same thing. A quick flash (@ 2 sec.) of the screensaver,
then desktop. I thought the waving santa mouse was the prob. and switched it
to an arrow...still @ 2 sec. of the snowman screensaver, then desktop.
Earlier this year I downloaded the new direct X for the global fx
screensaver(although its a new comp. so, shouldn't need the new download).
Any other ideas?
