Chrashing Explorer

I have this continuing problem with IE 6.0.2900.2180 running on Win XP sp2.

It keeps crashing no matter what I do. When it provided a link to a
solution it does not solve the problem. My system has McAfee Firewall &
AntiVirus, PCTools Anti Spyware software and MS Outlook running in the
background. But even this basic setup falls prey to the IE crash syndrome.

Please can anyone help?
