Chosing columns on page setup to repeat on each page

I want to repeat the left column of my worksheet on each
page. Some cells have information that is fully contained
in the cell, and some are description information and
extend into the adjoining cells. These adjoining cells
are blank, so the information shows as flowing over these
blank cells. When printing the report for page 2 and
beyond only the characters that physically reside in the
width of the column print. Any of the overflow characters
do not. Is there a way to have the entire information
print on each page? I have tried formatting, merging
cells, etc. to no avail.

You need to size the column to fit the text.
