choppy sound when saved to dv camera

i finished creating my movie in wmm 1. saved it to dv camera and for somereason the sound pauses every 15 seconds or so. is my dv tape not long enough or something? please help i'm losing my hair...literally

Seems like it's dropping frames as it tries to keep up with the flow of
data, but can't. Exporting the movie to the camcorder is the most demanding
task for your hard drive.... so free up space, defrag, turn off other apps.
And try the WinDV utility - link on the Digital Camcorders > Intro page of
my website.
