I have 2 hard drives in my laptop both with Win2000
Professional installed. I need to know how to setup the
computer so that I can choose which drive to boot during
startup. I am using one drive for demo purpose so this
drive rarely gets used but I do need to boot it once in a
while.

Does your laptop have a setting in BIOS which hard drive to boot from? In
that case, change this setting when you need to boot from the other. If
your laptop doesn't have any setting for this, keep on reading.

Was the second installation done with both hard disks connected to the
machine?

If not, I would suggest that you just switch place of the hard disks.

The reason is that you would get incorrect drive letters in the second
installation if you just add a selection in boot.ini. Solving those
problems takes a lot more time than a reinstall would.

Best regards
