In Outlook 2000, a Contact entry may have multiple email
addresses associated. When addressing a message using the
To: button, how may one choose a specific email address
from the contact entry?

Post your mail support mode. (Line 2 of Help | About, if you don't know).

Mail support mode is "Internet Mail Only - Security Update"

Then you will have no such option. Only the Outlook Address Book will list
each electronic address separately. Internet Mail Only cannot support the
Outlook Address Book so must use the Windows Address Book instead. You would
have to switch to the full Corp/Workgroup mode to use the Outlook Address
Book.
