My previous thread described the result of my purchasing a non-OEM
cartridge: it didn't click into place so didn't work. I got it from Choice
Stationery who, incidentally have spammed me absolutely senseless for the
past 3 years, somehow even evading my spam blocking.
Is there a better place to get a non-OEM cartridge?
Cheers.

And they forced you to buy their product?

My experience with this supplier for the last 2 years has been a positive
one. I get regular emails with offers which I can choose to unsubscribe at
any time, so I wouldn't regard these as spam emails.

Cheers from Mike

Try www.247inkshop.co.uk they used to be an Ebay seller but have grown up
somewhat, the ink seems good for the price, I use it with an Epson R300m and
get great results for photos. Regarding your comment about Choice Stationary
I had the same problem even though I unsubscribed, it made no difference
spam after spam, I found their photo paper very poor, I also know a guy who
purchased paper from them and it produced Bronzing on the glossey, the only
paper I found OK was Folex Pro, even with this they are not the cheapest in
the land.

In a more servious vein I have a personal policy that I NEVER buy ANYTHING
from ANYONE who sends me
unsolicited e-mails.

I have been using Choice for years with no trouble whatsoever. I assume
you removed the packing from the side of the cartridge - if you didn't
then it cannot click into place. If you bought cartridges from Choice
then they will email you - this is not spam and they will unsubscribe
you.

I have nothing but praise for the quality and price of the cartridges
from Choice.
