Greetings all,

Is there a way to create a shortcut to open a link in a browser other than
the default?
My default browser is IE but there are some sites that I prefer to use
Firefox with. How can I create a shortcut that will open those sites with
Firefox rather than the default IE browser? What would the syntax be?
Thanks,

Hi,
You just need to add the URL to the target of the shortcut.
Example: browse to (e.g.) C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
Create a shortcut to firefox.exe on the desktop or in a folder. Right-click>
Properties, add the URL to the target, such as
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" www.yahoo.com
Note the space between exe" and www.

Hope this helps,
Don
