Choice between optimum performance and quick removal of external devices

Hello

I remember once someone telling me that there was a choice in Windows
between optimum performance and quick removal of external storage systems
(which i found and configured)

I'd like to look at this option again but I can't find it.

Can sm please tell me where it is?

It takes a few seconds to remove an external storage device. How much faster
did you have in mind?

Dave:
It's in Device Manager in the Disk drives section. Right-click on your
connected USB device and click on Properties. The item will be found by
clicking on the Policies tab. The "Optimize for quick removal" is the
default.
