Chkdsk on vista--results?

I ran chkdsk on a hard drive under Vista. If the behavior is the same as
XP, the results should be in event viewer, but event viewer now is packed
with items, and I can't get the custom filter to work. Under what category
or section would the chkdsk results be? Thanks.

Shouldn't they be under "System" and "chkdsk"?

In XP, it was under the application log and the event was winlogon. I
don't know if that has changed in Vista tho.

I see "system," under "Windows Logs," but it's not there. There is no
"chkdsk" heading, and no even under system shows the chkdsk result.

It's not the same in Vista. The Winlogon section is empty.
Also, filter doesn't work and a find on "chkdsk" was still running after 30
mins.

I meant: nothing under any category under system shows the chkdsk result
(unless I missed something).
