I am running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1. My
suburb recently had a power blackout while I my PC was
on. When I next switched on my PC, CHKDSK ran on one of
my non-boot partitions. I was pleased with this response
to the power loss, and even more pleased when no errors
were found.
However, CHKDSK now runs on this partition every time I
boot my system (after the Windows XP Professional splash
screen, before the login screen), without finding any
errors. This did not happen before.
How do I stop this behaviour?
