Ever since I put in a new hard disk drive my SSC chip resetter hasn't
worked. It tells me it has stoere dthe data when I click on 'Store' and it
says 'Data Stored!'; then I print out the document, then click on 'Restore'
and it says 'No data stored!'.
I would be happier if it was something you could uninstall and reinstall,
but there doesn't seem to be a way of doing that.
Is there perhaps a conflict with something I have put on my PC, or ought I
have put something on my PC which I haven't?
Thanks,
Versy.

I got a copy of SSC and it never did work. Some blank windows came
up, that was about all. Wound up getting a different program that
does work with XP and my parallel-connected 1270. It's called
"InkLevel," and it costs $12.95 to download. Since the program is
limited to certain printers, the inexpensive hardware reset devices
are probably more practical.
