chiinv function error

When attempting to use the chiinv function, I receive an
error of #NUM when the degrees of freedom is set to an
interger higher than 927. Can anyone confirm this
problem ?

Most of Excel's probability distribution functions are notoriously poor. Guess
Microsoft can't find the money to hire anyone who knows numeric programming.
