Start Menu>Control Panel>Programs and Features>
to the left you will see "Turn Windows features on or off", click it.

"Games" should be your second option, check it. Click OK.
The games will be installed. Enjoy.

No. You would have to upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate.

Don't follow Carey's instructions. Do what Michael stated. It will be a lot
cheaper!!

We all are wrong at times. And I was going to let this go.
However, the OP may have read your reply
and decided it must be the gospel because you
have [MVP] beside your name along with....

..... in your sig. And this is the official Microsoft Forums.
To a lot of users that would make it seem you
must know what you are talking about. And poor Gary12nt7
just ran out to buy Ultimate, or wouldn't get the enjoyment of playing
his beloved Chess game.

I'm giving you a hard time, Carey, because you seem to be wrong
more often than any other MVPs in this group.

You don't think it's important for MVPs to offer
accurate information? Especially, since this is
where they are directed to by Microsoft for help.
