I always understood that you cannot castle if the king would "pass through" a square attacked by an opposing piece.
For example, if a bishop has an open line on the square next to the king, the king would not be able to castle on that side (even though the king is not currently in check).
Am I correct about this? Is this the correct rule in chess? Because in chess titans I've had the computer castle through check this way a couple of times now.
