Mad Max
Attempted to run chekdisk, on Windows XPhome.
Allowed to run at next bootup, as expected.
At next bootup there was a message, as follows.
"Cannot open for direct access.
Windows has finished chekdisk."
The problem is that chekdisk has not ran, but the message repeats at each
and every bootup.
Any ideas about how to lose the message and to be able to run Chekdisk ?
This problem has slowed bootup time considerably.
