Hi
We have a FrontPage form that potential customers fill in before getting to
our downloads section on our website. We then get an email from 'me' that
contains the data typed in by the user. At the moment any 'rubbish' info can
be typed in and they will still get to the confirmation page that contains
the download links.
I would like to have a 'method' of guaranteeing that the emails used are
genuine. Many websites I have used need the correct email so that the
download link can be emailed, which would be fine for us.
Is it possible?
I have considered setting up outlook express as an autoresponder, but as the
emails come from 'me' rather than the user this would not work.
Searching the net I have found references to using asp but it seems to have
the content of the email on the page code, so surely all the person would
need to do is view source to see the downloads link?
Any help or suggestions appreciated!
Thanks
