Checking Software for Up-To-Date?

Is there any freeware available that will check software to see if it
is up-to-date? CNET used to have Catchup, but that's long gone.
Someone recently posted a page that had BigFix on it, but that seems
to have disappeared also.

Anything out there?

Has "Exit to Tray" option. I only run mine about once a month--never
automatically. You're welcome.
