Hello,

If I configure an Ethernet interface on my Win2000 PC to
use "auto-detect", I can check the status of the interface
to know the speed - 10 or 100 Mb/sec.

I do not know how to find out the duplex that has been
auto-negotiated. Can someone please let me know how I can
find out?

Thank you in advance.

You could install an advanced driver from manufacturer. Practically, you
should lock the link speed and duplex unless it's laptop.
