Check status of Explorer 6 download

To Who Can Help Me,

I have noticed that my explorer is not my home page
and that my computer says I have explorer 5.5. I think
something has happened to my download and I want to verify
that I have explorer6 and that it is installed properly.

1) to verify what version of Internet Explorer you have, click on
Help/About Internet Explorer in the Internet Explorer menu.

2) to download IE6 go here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/ie6sp1/default.asp

If your home page seems to have been changed, then you may have a parasite
on your system. The following links will help you remove it:
