There was a fairly recent post concerning some other software, but the
reply also included a link to a small program for printing regular blank
checks, inserting the date, payee, etc. The program's feature was that the
lines could be formatted in that they could be moved up or down, left or
right, to fit the preprinted blank check.

I've searched the messages and couldn't find it, and made a Google search
but no luck.

Anyone remember it or know of it?

Thanks, but that's not the one (I ran into it through the Google search) -
it appears to print blank stock only.

I phrased it poorly - I have bank pre-printed checks, business size. I
want to fill in the blanks and print. Will this program do it? I read the
Tutorial and it doesn't sound like it will.

Do you or anyone else remember the other program?

Try http://www.printmychecks.com/

it takes a bit of setting up with blank pieces of paper the same size as
your cheques, works great

Thanks, but that won't work for me - I use business-size checks.

From the website: "Only the standard checkbook checks are supported
(6 x 2.75), custom sizes are supported in Business Edition."

Thanks, but it's overkill, and it creates the whole check rather than just
filling in the lines on the checks I have. I don't use these business-size
checks for a business so no deduction. I just don't want to fill the checks
out by hand :-)

No, but Form Fill might work :

From looking at the screen it should work. I'm downloading it now and I'll
"check" :-) it out.

Thanks,
