I just upgraded from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003; I used
to be able to type (first last), then check names to find
a user in the GAL. In 2003, It only works if I type the
last name. Any ideas?

It was Last,First. I just changed it to First Last. Got
out of Outlook. But this did not fix it. My issue is w/
the GAL. Can we exchange e-mails?
(e-mail address removed)?

What sort order have you specified for the Outlook Address Book?

I'm not following.
Last, First is not an option for the Outlook Address Book. Where are you
making this setting?

In Outlook 2003 - Tools, Options, Contact Options. I've also done: Tools, Options, MailSetup, E-Mail Accts, View/Change Address Book, Outlook Address Book, Change - This also says First Last. Where should I check the Sort Order?

Thanks for helping!

The latter option is the only place that works. You'll notice there is no
Last, First there.
