I am no longer able to run my check disk utility. Nothing happens when I
click on the "check now" button for the check disk. I attempted to run it
from the dos command line and received the following error:

The procedure entry point
?QueryCurrentDosDriveName@SYSTEM@@SGEPAVWSTRING@@@Z could not be located in
the dynamic link library ulib.dll.

Ran Norton and spyware detector and nothing appears to be wrong. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure what you tried, but how about clicking on MY COMPUTER and
RIGHT CLICKING on your Boot Drive, usually "C". Then on PROPERTIES,
then TOOLS and then CHECK NOW, which is CHKDSK...or Check DIsk.
Repost if you have a problem.

Thanks for your response. The way you described is how I normally use to run
this facility. I have tried that way and there is no response when I click
CHECK NOW. I tried the cmd prompt as an alternative and that is when I
received the error listed. Any other ideas?

anyone? please post any ideas....
