Check boxes - aligning with text

I am creating a database that uses a lot of check boxes. I am finding that I
have to manually position them in order to align them with the label's text,
otherwise they appear slightly above. Is there an easier solution to this?

Kind regards

Tony

Still manual but more precise:
Select the items you want to align.
Format, Align, Top

Sorry, but Format, Align, Top is what's been causing the problem. Access
vertically aligns the text in the control's label in the middle but the check
box itself aligns to the top. This gives it the appearance of being out of
line when the form is run, especially if you don't have any borders around
the label.

Kind regards

When I drag a Yes/No field form a field list to the form, the alignment is
OK. If you do not like the alignment, use the properties sheet (Shift plus
the arrow keys) to make the check box slightly smaller than the label, then
align bottom. Or whatever. Copy and paste that check box, changing the
control source, control name, and label as needed. Ctrl plus arrow keys to
move controls, and Shift plus arrow keys to size them, are among the more
useful formatting shortcuts. Really, though, it's a matter of experimenting
and finding what works for you.
