There is a hidden folder called My recieved Files in My Documents. Sometimes
it is a little hit and miss but within it you might find a file called
msmsng.txt (or somthing similar). This was added during the testing period
so that Microsoft could get testers to upload this file so they could see
what was happenning when messenger produced a fault.
As i say the file is a little hit and miss, sometimes it will be on your pc,
another time it won't. Although a hell of a lot of the file is technical
stuff there is also a large proportion of your conversations included. The
advise beta testers were given was to edit the personal data out, if
possible, before uploading the file to microsoft for analysis.
'If' this file is still on your pc, then the boss can see exactly what you
have been saying and to whom you have been talking too. In which case, you
have just lost your job!
If, on the other hand, you have access to this file and it is not covered by
adminstrator privledge, i.e., your boss or someone else maybe the only one
who can access it, then you can actually delete it to partically hide your
tracks. I say partially, because there is plenty of software out there that
can let your boss know exactly what you are doing. But maybe your boss isn't
that clever. Or maybe he is sitting reading this message now, in which case,
he just got cleverer.
