Having just bought some of these from a pound shop last week.

It was 5 dvd r for 1 pound.

Out of 5 dvd r only 2 burn right.

The brand name is emotion high performance 4.7GB.

Think the name is mis-leading and very poor.

Does anyone know where these dvd r come from?

Got some new ones today called octron dvd-r from lidl been knock down from 3.99 to 1.99.

Work fine for 1.99 and no trouble at all.

Hey Michael

You can't come on here telling us you went to a pound shop to buy your optical media and expect us to baulk at that..

You get what you pay for in the media stakes i'm afraid...Glad the octrons are working out for you..But next time do yourself a favour and go to the links AB has put up and buy yourself a tub of 50 Verbatims or Titaniums for around 10 to 12 quid...You won't get any coasters and you'll save yourself some cash in the long run...

Happy burnin..

I always use Verbatim CD-RW/ DVD-Rs.

I must have used hundreds of them and they actually never fail. Good stuff.

what is the postage and packaging like on these sites then?

Try clicking on the buy button on an item and then going to checkout to see what the postage is . On some sites this wwon't work .
