From time to time I hear chattering noise from floppy drive when I start
a process of saving a file. I have to wait quite some time until it
ceases doing so before I resume the file saving process. How can I fix
this problem?

Sounds (pun) like the floppy drive unit is not mounted tightly
into it's slot. Mounting varies from case to case, but usually
is two small screws that tighten into the housing. Older cases
sometimes had a rail system, where you attached rails to the
drive and then slide the assembly into the housing till it locks
in place.
If it's not a loose/wobbly unit - it may need replacing. Floppy
drive are inexpensive (~$10-15). Biggest issue may be in
finding a unit that matches your case color.

Honjo is talking about the noise his floppy makes when it's being accessed
by the system, not vibrations that would only occur during its use.

Yes, exactly. There is no floppy disk inserted in the drive and I was trying
to save a file somewhere else other than in a floppy disk. The chattering
noise happens when the system appears to attempt to access a non-existanct
floppy disk. Anyone know how to fix this?

Look for shortcuts, recent file lists, etc. pointing to a file located
on A: drive. And your font stinks, BTW.
