I doubt it. I would imagine/hope a next generation Sonata would have this
feature. The Sonata case is nice but it has options for considerable
improvements. I would like to see speed monitors on the case fan, the case
to be bigger and for the PSU to be both more powerful and also quieter. It
does not, IMPO, deserve all the silent marketing that Antec have for the
case.

The 3-wire fan cable from my Sonata's PSU is connected to the P4P800
chasis fan (CHA_FAN1) header and it do notice variations in the chasis
fan rpm in the Asus pc probe. The 120mm Antec chasis fan is connected
to one of the two PSU fan molex connectors.

Question: If I install a second 120mm (Antec) fan on the Sonata's
disk drive bracket and hook it up to the second PSU fan molex
connector, I presume both fans would always be operating at the same
rpm, ie., the m/b and/or PSU cannot control each fan individually. If
that is the case, would it be better to connect this second fan to the
PWR_FAN1 header?

Albert.

My TruePower has 2 extra connection called "Fan Only", I used these to
connect my other case fans, each one has a little over 5v on them..
You can only attach 2 fans according to the power supply book.. Not sure
what the max current rating of that fan connector is.
