chasing my icons all over

Tom - being driven nutz

from time to time my icons break loose... they run all
over the decktop... when I try to point to 'em - they run
away.... and then, as if by magic, it stops for a while
only to have it happen again.... most annoying... is
there anything I can do to nail 'em down on the desktop?

Facinating. Please post the name of the virus when you find it.
 
That's a cute little VIRUS you have there.

Try this...
Get a free Virus check at...
www.housecall.antivirus.com

When it tells you the virus names you have, write them all down.
Search Google search engine with that exact name...
Look for a site like Symantec to get the "fixtool" to get rid of the virus.
Warning: Do exactly what it says in the correct order, or you WON'T get rid
of th virus.

Update your antivirus definitions and go get a Firewall.
For free antivirus go to www.grisoft.com and download the free version.
Set it up correctly and use it.
For a free Firewall go to www.zonelabs.com and download the free version of
Zone Alarm.
Look for "Zone Alarm (free)"

Set it up correcty and use it.

Post back the name of the virus/virii you have now.
