I am trying to make a chart that visually displays the
break in continuity between the time one employee leaves a
job and the time it takes to get a new person in the
postion, and fully trained and qualified. I envision that
the 'y' axis would be time (6 months, say Aug-Jan 04) and
the 'x' axis would be the employees names (say, Smith and
Jones).
If Smith left the company in August 03 and Jones is picked
to fill his position two weeks later but then it takes 6
weeks for him to be fully qualified and functioning in
that position, how do I display this information. I have
begun to think that PowerPoint only displays in numbers
but I do not see why it could not display by dates also.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
